Livingston County Primary Election Results

The Primary Election for Livingston County included three local ballot questions for consideration by the voters.

Approximately 36.7% of the registered voters cast a ballot.

 

For the Livingston County Ambulance District ballot question to fund the district with a sales and use tax was approved on a vote of 1,864 yes to 1,459 no.

 

Cream Ridge Township voters approved the General Road District Question on a vote of 115 yes to 26 no.

 

Sampsel Township voters approved the General Road District Question on a vote of 92 yes to 24 no.

 

There were no contested races for the Livingston County offices, and only Republican candidates.  They include:

Associate Circuit Judge – Michael R. Leamer

Presiding Commissioner – Ed Douglas

Circuit Clerk – Lora Crouch

Clerk of the County Commission – Nancy Hicks

Recorder of Deeds – Amy Baker

Prosecuting Attorney – Andrew Scott Perkins
