The Missouri Department of Transportation will have a holiday-shortened workweek, but the schedule shows plenty of projects, including continued work on bridge-deck and bridge replacements and pothole patching taking place. In the local counties, scheduled work includes:
Caldwell County
Route B – CLOSED daily for a resurfacing project from Route F to Southeast Price Drive, Sept. 8- 25.
Carroll County
Route M – CLOSED daily for a resurfacing project from US 65 in Carroll County to Route 11 in Chariton County, Sept. 8-15.
Route WW – CLOSED daily for resurfacing project from Route 65 in Carroll County to Route YY in Chariton County, Sept. 8-15.
Grundy County
Route WW – CLOSED daily for resurfacing project from Route 6 to Route W, Sept. 7-25.
Route W – CLOSED daily for resurfacing project from Route 6 to County Road 500, Sept. 7-25.
US 65 – Bridge maintenance at the bridge over Muddy Creek, Sept. 9-10.
Linn County
US 36 – Concrete replacement eastbound for one mile starting at Route 11, Sept. 8-10. The road will be narrowed to one lane around-the-clock.
US 36 – Concrete replacement eastbound from Route 5 to Felton Drive, Sept. 10-11. The roadway will be narrowed to one lane around-the-clock.
Livingston County
US 65 – ADA sidewalk improvements in Chillicothe through mid-September.
Sullivan County
Route 5 – Resurfacing project from US 136 east of Unionville to Route 6 north of Milan through early September.
Routes E, W & PP – Resurfacing project through September.
Routes KK, BB, and M– Scrub seal project throughout Grundy, Linn, Livingston, Putnam, and Sullivan counties through October.
