Chillicothe’s 3rd Ward Councilman Manny Morales has resigned from his seat on the council, effective immediately. The city council accepted the resignation. Morales was appointed to the position in June of 2025, serving for just over a year.
Morales stated, ”After careful consideration, I have decided to step away from this role to focus on personal, family, and health matters. I appreciate the opportunity to serve the residents of this community and am grateful for the experiences and relationships gained during my time in office.”
The mayor will be seeking applicants from the 3rd Ward to fill the opening.
