A FREE Thyroid Plus panel is offered to Livingston County residents through the Livingston County Health Center in the month of August. Ann Burchette from the Health Center says the thyroid is a small gland with a big job.
Affects nearly every cell in your body.
The Thyroid hormones help regulate many important functions in the body, including metabolism, energy level, body temperature, heart rate, and digestion.
Livingston County residents may visit the Health Center any Tuesday or Thursday in August from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. to take advantage of the free testing. No appointment is necessary, and there is NO NEED to fast.
