Veterans services will be available several times at the Trenton VFW in the month of October.
A Veterans Service Officer will be present on Monday, October 5th, Friday, October 9th, and Friday, October 16th – 9 am to 2 pm each day, to help with VA paperwork and answer any questions. You are asked to bring a copy of your DD-214, and all VA paperwork you may have.
On Friday, October 16th, a Vet Center Counselor will be present starting at 10:30 am, until everyone is seen. Vet Center Counselors help with readjustment counseling, PTSD, depression, and family counseling. Very good resource that is free to Veterans.
In addition, a Counselor is available on an as needed basis throughout the month by calling the KC Vet Center 1-816-753-1866. There is also an option of appointments via Zoom to attempt to be more flexible.
