The Chillicothe Lady Hornets finished 11th out of 18 teams Monday in the Smith-Cotton Classic at the Sedalia Country Club, posting a team score of 409.
Ava Lance led Chillicothe individually with a 92, finishing tied for 23rd in the large field. Harper Horsman carded a 100, followed by Emerson Brobst at 106, Libbie Bonderer at 111 and Danika Harkins at 133.
St. Joseph’s Academy won the team championship with a 329, followed by Helias Catholic and Rock Bridge, which tied at 347. St. Teresa’s Academy was fourth at 350, while Smith-Cotton rounded out the top five at 374.
The individual championship went to Tess Guignon of St. Joseph’s Academy, who shot a 68. Drew Maze of Rock Bridge was second at 71, while Hannah Lowman of Smith-Cotton, Peyton Strupp of St. Teresa’s Academy, Aliyah Simmons of Hickman and Lily Caudle of Jefferson City each shot 79.
