A Certificate of Deposit and Social Media were among the topics for the Livingston County Health Center Board of Trustees.
The board was informed that one of their CDs had matured, and it needed to be rolled over. The board chose to roll the funds into a 24-month CD with an interest rate of 3.65%.
Health Center Director Sherry Weldon says work is complete on the new fire alarm system. The system includes monitoring.
The new AC systems are now working properly after some early issues.
Concrete work on the sidewalks and parking lot continues and could be completed later in the week.
Sonja Daley addressed the board about the decision at the last meeting to block ALL comments on Facebook posts by the Health Center. Daley provided information on the benefits of open comments and communication. There was discussion among the board members before a vote was taken, and the board defeated to motion to open comments on posts.
