Amendments to the City of Chillicothe’s Motel/Hotel tax were presented by City Attorney Robert Cowherd. Cowherd says the primary change is from Quarterly to Monthly.
The tax is collected at the time of check-in and was held and sometimes not paid on time.
This will help track the payments.
The new monthly collections would begin in April.
