Three bids for a tractor with a side boom and attachments were considered by the Chillicothe City Council. The Tractor would be for the Street Department and includes the rotary mower and ditching attachment. This would be used for roadside areas and steep embankments.
Bids received ranged from just over $165,000 to $195,000, with delivery times ranging from 33 weeks to 11 months.
The low bid was submitted by Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners, totaling $165,046.41. delivery was quoted as 9-11 months, but the city was told it could be as little as 7 months.
