Bids Approved For CMU Projects

The Chillicothe Board of Public Works approved two bids as part of its meeting Tuesday.

 

For the Electric Department, General Manager Matt Hopper says a bid was accepted for a Motor Control Center.

One bid from SMC for $61,025.

 

In the Waste Water Department, there was also one bid accepted.

For sandblasting and recoating of the ditch for $336,000

 

Work is expected to begin in October and should be completed in February.

 

Hopper says the annual audit report was presented, and there were no concerns.
