A Chula man was arrested by Livingston County deputies for alleged resisting arrest. Thirty-seven-year-old Juan Garcia Flores was arrested Saturday afternoon and booked into the Caldwell County Detention Center. Flores has been officially charged in Livingston County Associate Court with Resisting Arrest with bond set at $2,500.
Livingston County Sheriff Steve Cox says Flores was out of jail on bond for alleged Rape or Attempted Rape and Domestic Assault-1st.
ICE has also notified the sheriff that they want a hold placed on Flores for when Livingston County is done with him as they will deal with his immigration status.
