Braymer Man Facing Bad Check And Stealing Charges

A Braymer man has been charged in Caldwell County Court with five counts of allaged passing bad checks from late May to early June.  Thirty-seven-year-old James Ryan Levi Grimes of Braymer allegedly passed checks totalling $898.00.  A warrant is issued for his arrest.  Bond is set at $1,000 cash only.

Grimes is also charged with alleged stealing – $750 or more.  The probable cause statement indicates alleged stealing by using checks with no connected bank account.  The total of the checks is just over $1,400.  A warrant is issued, with bond set at $500 cash only.
