A two-vehicle crash near Laclede Tuesday night left a Brookfield teen with serious injuries. State Troopers report that at about 8:27 pm, a pick-up driven by a 16-year-old Brookfield boy was southbound at the Laclede junction at US 36, and failed to yield. The pick-up was struck by a westbound semi driven by a 47-year-old Kentucky man. The teen was flown to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of serious injuries. The truck driver was not injured.
