The Lillian DesMarias Youth Library is hosting an award-winning children’s author on April 9th, at 6:00 pm. The program is Kate’s Stories Are Everywhere. Kate Albus is the award-winning author of two children’s books, A Place to Hang the Moon and Nothing Else But Miracles, both of which are Mark Twain Award nominees.
Albus says she loves writing for the pure, simple, solitary pleasure of it. She explains she loves spending a year or more with characters who come to feel like family.
