Chillicothe City Council Approves Ordinances

The Chillicothe City Council approved two ordinances from the agenda on Monday.

Fire Chief Eric Reeter presented bids from Chillicothe Plumbing Supply for kitchen cabinets, countertops, sink, and accessories for the Fire Station.  This is to update the kitchen used daily by the fire crews.  The bid for materials was $35,556.96.  This is for materials only and does not include the installation.  An allowance was made to upgrade the garbage disposal unit.

Codes Officer Gil Gates lead a discussion on an intensive architectural and historical survey of the railroad district and the expanded downtown.  The funding will be split. And state grant funding is available.  The ordinance approved totals $28,914.40.
