Chillicothe Police For Monday & Tuesday

The Chillicothe Police report for Monday and Tuesday included 126 calls for service.

On Monday, officers investigated a report of possible drug use but were unable to locate anyone. Animal control is looking into reported animal offenses. Officers also recovered an abandoned bicycle and assisted with a medical call. A bicyclist suffered minor injuries in a crash at John F. Kennedy and Easton when a driver failed to yield — resulting in a citation. Other calls included a report of a camping concern with no violations found and a business alarm that proved to be false.

On Tuesday, officers began an investigation into reported stealing. A possible burglary was checked, but no crime was found. Officers also assisted with a trailer blocking a highway ramp and made contact with a person camping in a shed at Simpson Park, who left without issue. A separate dispute over a vehicle purchase was determined to be a civil matter and referred to an attorney.
