Two adults and three juveniles were arrested by Chillicothe Police officers just before midnight Tuesday.
Officers arrested:
An 18-year-old male for possession of a controlled substance and possession of alcohol by a minor,
A 19-year-old female for possession of alcohol by a minor,
Two 17-year-olds and a 15-year-old for possession of alcohol by a minor.
The arrests were the result of a traffic stop at S. Mitchell Ave. and E. Bus. 36 Hwy.
Officers report seizing narcotics and a handgun during the stop.
The adults were processed at the Police Department and released pending court appearances. The 17-year-olds were processed and later released to their parents. The 15-year-old was released to the Division of Youth Services.
