Chillicothe Police Report For January 1st

Forty-three calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on January 1st.

Officers responded to an early morning alarm at a business on West Business 36, which was found secure. A traffic stop at Clay and Vine Streets led to a vehicle being towed and multiple citations were issued.

Later in the day, officers and EMS responded to a person in crisis on Monroe Street, who was transported to Hedrick Medical Center. Police also located a juvenile reported missing and safely reunited them with their parents.

Several traffic stops, welfare checks, and business checks were also handled throughout the day.
