Chillicothe Police Report For Monday

Nearly 90 calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Monday.

Early in the morning, officers took information on possible drug activity. Animal Control responded to two separate reports of dogs running loose, one of which attempted to bite a bicyclist.

In the afternoon, police executed a search warrant on a vehicle as part of an ongoing investigation in the 1500 block of Bryan Street. Officers also assisted the fire department with a medical call and later with a possible vehicle fire on Business 36, where the vehicle was towed.

Throughout the day, officers fielded several questions from citizens about ongoing investigations, including a vehicle crash, child abuse and neglect, and possible child pornography and fraud.

Later in the evening, officers investigated a possible burglary on Wise Street, but determined it was a landlord–tenant dispute.
