Chillicothe Police Report For Monday

Seventy-three calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Monday,  some of the calls include:

At 11:07 a.m., Officers recovered stolen property in the 700 block of Commercial St. The items were stored at the Police Department until they could be returned to the owner.

At 11:55 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle non-injury traffic crash at Business 36 and S. Washington St. Officers were assisted by the Chillicothe Fire Department and Livingston County Sheriff’s Department.

At 7:11 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a person in crisis in the 200 block of Polk St.  Officers discovered the person left on foot and patrolled the area. Officers located the person on Jackson St. at the railroad tracks. The person became combative and assaulted Officers. They were subdued and transported to a hospital for treatment and evaluation. Officers were assisted by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office.
