Chillicothe Police Report For Monday

The Chillicothe Police Department report for Monday includes 66 calls for service.  Some of the calls include:

Just after midnight, officers found an open door at the Chillicothe High School Performing Arts Center. The building was searched, no criminal activity was found, and the door was secured.

Around 3:30 a.m., officers checked on a suspicious vehicle in the 1600 block of Webster Street and found the owner sleeping inside. No violations were reported.

Officers also responded to reports of suspicious activity, harassment, assault, and a dog bite, with those investigations continuing. Police were unable to locate a dog reported running at large near Oak Drive and John F. Kennedy Avenue.

Monday night, officers assisted the fire department on a reported fire in the 400 block of Webster Street, where a barbecue grill fire had already been extinguished before crews arrived.
