More than 100 calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Monday. Some of the calls include:
Officers responded to a disturbance at Calhoun Street and Grandview Avenue just before 5:00 a.m. They located the individual involved, who agreed to stop the disruptive behavior.
Animal Control investigated a report of possible animal neglect on Cowgill Street. Officers handled several calls that were determined to be civil matters, including reports involving a possible theft, a property dispute, and a disturbance.
Police took a report of fraud just after noon, and the investigation is ongoing. Officers responded to a report of a possible protection order violation Monday evening, which is under investigation.
Late Monday night, officers found several people at Simpson Park after closing hours. They were advised of park hours and left without incident.
