Chillicothe Police Report For Thursday

The Chillicothe Police Department handled 81 calls for service on Thursday.  Some of the calls include

08:25 – Detectives initiated an investigation of criminal activity at a location on Polk Street. Officers made contact with a juvenile.

9:19 – A fraud investigation was begun.  The victim reported an account was compromised. No immediate financial loss was reported.

10:42 am – Officers began a formal Child Abuse investigation.

At about 3:28 pm – Officers took a report of tools stolen from truck. The incident took place in November 2020.

5:55 pm – Officers investigated a report of suspicious activity.

At about 7:38  pm, Officer conducted a traffic stop for a turn signal violation. A warning was issued for expired insurance card and turning violation.

At about 10:10 pm, Officers responded to Hedrick Medical Center Emergency Room for a combative patient transported by Linn County authorities. The situation was resolved peacefully without injury.

Officers also conducted several traffic stops, business checks, vehicle checks, and followed up with numerous investigations.
