Chillicothe Police Report For Thursday

Chillicothe Police officers handled 75 calls for service on Thursday. Some of those calls include:

Early this morning, officers took a report from a 22-year-old woman who had received threats on social media, including a threat of violence.

Officers handled a traffic hazard at Business 36 and Highway 65, where a road sign was found hanging loose. MoDOT was notified.

Later in the morning, police responded to a report of possible flooding near Samuel and Gilbert Streets, with city crews called in to investigate.

Around 11 a.m., officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Vine Street involving a physical altercation between a man and a woman.

Police also assisted another agency in attempting to locate a man with a warrant, and received a separate warrant for follow-up on a woman.

In the afternoon, officers checked on a report of a dog left in a vehicle on Trenton Road but determined the animal was not in distress.

In addition to these calls, officers conducted traffic stops, building checks, and followed up on ongoing investigations.
