Eighty-three calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Thursday.
Officers investigated a temporary homeless camp reported at a location on Business 36. They handled a single-vehicle accident on Industrial Road with no injuries, and assisted with a walk-in complainant at the police station.
A harassment report was taken involving a 12-year-old approached by an unknown man, and a theft report was filed for items allegedly stolen by a family member.
Other calls included a complaint of children on golf carts, and multiple traffic stops, most ending with warnings for violations for expired registration, speeding, equipment issues, and headlight problems.
