Chillicothe Police Report For Thursday

Chillicothe Police handled 74 calls for service Thursday.  The calls include:

Officers assisted callers with questions about possible fraud and property retrieval, and responded to several disturbance reports. In two cases on Graves Street and Williams Street, juveniles were involved — including one juvenile who was taken to a hospital for evaluation after expressing self-harm thoughts.

Police also investigated reports of a disabled vehicle and a possible domestic disturbance, though nothing was found in either case. Later in the evening, officers located several juveniles involved in an attempted fight on Calhoun Street; the case was referred to the Juvenile Office.

Just before 11 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on U.S. 36 and arrested a 28-year-old man for driving while intoxicated and driving with a revoked license. He was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center on a 24-hour hold. Police also handled a late-night loud music complaint on West Jackson Street.
