Chillicothe Police Report For Tuesday

Seventy-one calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Tuesday.  Those calls include:

Officers opened an investigation into a report of child abuse and neglect just after midnight. Late Tuesday morning, a vehicle blocking a driveway on Cherry Street was towed after the owner couldn’t be located.

Around 3:30 pm, officers responded to a disturbance on Fair Street that was found to involve a family member experiencing a mental health issue.

Police also took a report of a possible phone scam after a caller claimed to be from cell service provider and attempted to access someone’s account.

Officers checked a commercial alarm on South Washington Street and found no emergency. And just after 6 pm, police resolved a verbal disturbance on West Jackson Street after one person agreed to leave.
