Chillicothe Police Report For Tuesday

Sixty-nine calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Tuesday.

Officers investigated a report of child abuse or neglect on Cherry Street, with the case now under investigation by the Livingston County Children’s Division.

Police also responded to two separate domestic disturbances, both determined to be verbal only, with no arrests reported.

Other calls included assisting with a single-vehicle crash near the north city limits, helping the fire department on a medical call, checking on possible trespassing, and locating a missing elderly man with dementia who had wandered from his home.

Officers followed up on careless driving complaints and took in a lost cell phone in an effort to find its owner.

In addition, officers conducted routine traffic stops and business checks throughout the day
