Seventy-five calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Tuesday. Some of the calls include:
Early in the morning, officers responded to a business alarm in the 2500 block of North Washington Street. During the day, officers assisted residents with questions about property retrieval and potential scams, and checked on a door-to-door solicitor in the 1200 block of Webster Street who was found to have a valid business license.
Later Tuesday evening, officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 1400 block of Alexander Street. A 26-year-old man was arrested for assault. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.
Officers conducted traffic stops and routine business checks throughout the day.
