Chillicothe Police Report For Wednesday

The Chillicothe Police Department report for Wednesday includes 77 calls for service.

Officers responded to several information-only calls involving protection orders, possible scams, and a reported hit-and-run, with no reports filed in those cases. Police also conducted a well-being check but were unable to locate the individual.

Animal Control handled multiple calls for dogs running at large and a report of possible animal neglect, with all situations resolved and no crimes discovered. One harassment report was taken and remains under investigation.

Late in the day, officers responded to a commercial alarm that was determined to be false and assisted a suspicious person who was experiencing a mental health crisis and was safely returned to family.
