Eighty-four calls for service were handled by Chillicothe Police Officers on Wednesday.
At 10:44 a.m., while on patrol, Officers checked on a driver at N. Brunswick and Third St.’s. Officers discovered the person was ill and assisted them.
At 11:25 a.m., Officers took a report of endangering the welfare of a child in the 1500 block of Clay St. The investigation is ongoing.
At 12:42 p.m., Officers took a report of a violation of a protection order. The investigation is ongoing.
At 5:52 p.m., Officers took a report of harassment. The investigation is ongoing.
At 5:56 p.m., Officers were dispatched to an open door of a closed business in the 1000 block of Industrial Rd. Officers responded, and checked the business.
At 9:12 p.m., Officers arrested a 20-year-old male at the Police Department after conducting a sexual misconduct involving a juvenile investigation. The male was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center (CCDC) and placed on a 24-hour hold pending the filing of formal charges.
Officers also conducted traffic stops, business checks, and handled animal control issues.
