Chillicothe Police Report For Wednesday

Sixty-six calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department Wednesday.  Some of the calls include:

Early in the morning, officers responded to a suspicious vehicle on Clay Street and assisted the Fire Department with a CO2 leak on West Business 36. A low-hanging wire was reported on Clay Street, and a 46-year-old man was arrested near Fairway and Country Club Drive for driving without a valid license.

Later in the day, officers responded to suspicious activity on Clay Street that turned out to be a tree company at the wrong address. They also investigated a hit-and-run crash at South Washington and Business 36, and a possible sex offender restriction violation on Country Club Drive. Another call came in regarding possible property damage and trespassing on South Washington Street.

Routine traffic stops and business checks were also conducted throughout the day.
