Ninety-one calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Wednesday.
Two arrests were made:
- A 42-year-old woman was arrested for tampering with a witness and hindering prosecution in a felony case.
- A 67-year-old man was arrested for financial exploitation of the elderly and first-degree harassment.
Officers also handled two non-injury traffic crashes, multiple calls about loose animals, and responded to a report of a scam targeting an elderly person involving a fake grandchild in a crash.
Other calls included parking complaints, well-being checks, property damage concerns, and a business alarm.
