Chillicothe Thursday Police Report

The Chillicothe Police Department’s report of activity for January 15th includes 71 calls for service.

Officers responded to several well-being checks, reports of property damage, and follow-up interviews related to an ongoing sexual assault investigation. Police also investigated a report of gunshots that was determined to be unfounded.

One person was pronounced deceased after officers responded to an unresponsive subject on Jackson Street; detectives and the Livingston County Coroner are continuing that investigation.

Police also dealt with an intoxicated and disorderly male at a business on Corporate Drive, resulting in an arrest for disorderly conduct.

Other calls included traffic and parking issues, animal control complaints, and a medical emergency crash on the Polk Street Bridge.
