The 58th annual Celebrity Band concert for the Chillicothe High School will be held on February 13th at 7:00 pm. The Celebrities this year are CHS band alumni. All tickets will be sold at the door and are priced at $4.00.
CHS Band Director Sarah Cavanaugh says more than 35 alumni band members have already registered for the event. They include members from the class of 1969 to 2024.
The concert will feature our CHS Jazz Ensemble and the CHS Symphonic Band, culminating with the alumni joining in the final selection, God of Our Fathers, arranged by Claude T. Smith. That selection will be conducted by Claude’s daughter, Pam Smith Kelly from the class of 1974.
A cookie reception will be held in the foyer of the Gary Dickinson Performing Arts Center immediately following the concert.
