The City of Chillicothe needs to complete and approve its budget by the end of March, as the fiscal year begins April 1st. City Administrator Roze Frampton says they are working with the various departments to put the budget together.

Frampton says there are many considerations before the budget is finalized. This includes various revenue streams and sales taxes. They also look at the pay and benefit opportunities.
Cost of living increase and capital expenditures.
The city commonly has a budget workshop ahead of the final budget presentation to the city council.
