The Chillicothe Municipal Utilities provided the required annual Net Metering report to their board Friday morning. General Manager Matt Hopper says this has to do with residential or commercial customers who have wind or solar generatos attached to the system.
Measuring the power put into the system, offsetting their power usage.
Hopper says they have seven net metering customers connected to the system. Three are commercial and four are residential.
He says any customer that would like to know more about net metering and solar installation is encouraged to contact the CMU office before signing agreements, to ensure you understand the process.
