A piece of property owned by Chillicothe Municipal Utilities has been leased to another company for the storage of materials. CMU General Manager Matt Hopper says the property located on the southeast corner of US 36 and 65 is leased to Jones Power as a pipe yard.
Hopper says the company is doing work in the area and requires storage for liquid pipeline materials.
They will store materials on that site until mid-2026.
