A single vehicle crash in Carroll County left the driver with serious injuries and a child with moderate injuries. State Troopers report the crash happened at about 3:16 pm Thursday, on Missouri 41 at the Miami Bridge. According to the report, a 46-year-old Columbia man was driving a van southbound and went off the left side of the road, striking the bridge. He and the 7-year-old boy from Marshal who was a passenger were both flown to University Hospital in Columbia.
