Computer Aided Dispatch System Purchase Approved

The purchase of a CAD or Computer Aided Dispatch system for Chillicothe and Livingston County was approved by the City Council.  The purchase is through a five year agreement with Central Square Solutions at an annual cost of $194,133.

 

The package includes the RMS Data collection and retrieval program that helps with reports needed by the officers, courts, and administration.

 

The Council also approved the five-year agreement with Livingston County on the payment terms.

The first year will include:

The city paying nearly $48,000, County paying nearly $60,000 and 911 Dispatch paying just over $86,000.

 

In the second year will include:

The city paying nearly $10,000, County paying nearly $21,500 and 911 Dispatch paying just over $56,500.

The remaining years will be similar.
