The Chillicothe Mission received a conditional use permit for its location on Waples Street. Codes Officer Gil Gates presented the request to the Chillicothe City Council.
This is short-term housing, not permanent residence.
He says the rules include a curfew of 9:00 pm and no exceptions.
Those who apply and do not qualify for the Mission will be transported to the Kansas City Union Mission.
