A single vehicle crash on Route Y, west of Chillicothe, on Monday evening left a 24-year-old Chillicothe man with moderate injuries. State Troopers responded to the accident at about 6:30 pm near Route Y and LIV 518. According to the report, the man was northbound and drove off the east side of the road, overcorrected, crossed the road, and his pick-up overturned off the west side of the road, coming to rest on its top.
The driver was taken to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries. He was wearing a safety belt.
