Crash Near Meadville Leaves One With Minor Injuries

A two-vehicle crash in Linn County left one driver with minor injuries.  State Troopers investigated the crash that occurred about 6:33 pm on US 36, near Meadville.  According to the report, a car driven by a 46-year-old Gallatin man and a semi driven by a 58-year-old Meadville man were both eastbound, and the car attempted to overtake the truck, but ran into the rear of the truck.  He was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.  The truck driver was not injured.
