Daviess County Crash Injures One

A two-vehicle crash at Interstate 35  and US 69 in Daviess County left one driver with moderate injuries Tuesday afternoon.  The Missouri Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred at about 12:57 pm near Winston, as a 41-year-old Gallatin man was eastbound on US 69 and an 88-year-old Springfield woman was northbound and failed to yield.  The Gallatin man struck the other vehicle and his car overturned.  He was not wearing a safety belt and was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph for treatment of moderate injuries.  The Springfield woman was not injured.
