Chillicothe R-II Finances

As part of the Chillicothe R-II School Board meeting, Superintendent Dr Dan Wiebers discussed the finances as we approach the end of the fiscal year.

June will include teacher salaries for June, July, and August.

The district expects to end the year with about 17.5% reserves, up from about 15.7% last year.

Wiebers says the budget for the 2026/27 School Year could include unreliable funding.

A reduction in anticipated state revenue.

He says the state could also withhold a portion of the funding, depending on the revenue it receives.
