A FREE pesticide disposal event will be held in Chillicothe this Saturday. The Missouri Department of Natural Resources will accept up to 8,000 pounds of pesticides from non-commercial sources at no charge. The event will be held at the Litton Agri-Science Learning Center at the Livingston County Fairgrounds, from 8:00 am to Noon.
Items that will be collected include herbicides, insecticides, rodenticides, dewormers, fly tags, and fertilizer containing pesticides.
They will not accept rinsate.
