The Chillicothe Police Department has issued an Endangered SILVER Advisory for a 93-year-old man. James Edward Jones is reported missing from 1001 Smith St. at 08:30 PM on April 27, 2026.
The endangered SILVER advisory missing adult is:
James Edward Jones, is a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 175 pounds. He has white hair, blue eyes, wears glasses, and has a long white beard. He was last seen wearing a red and black sweater, blue jeans, and black shoes.
Jones suffers from a severe memory deficit that renders him unable to receive and evaluate information.
On the evening of April 27, 2026, Mr. Jones drove away from his residence to go to a nearby store and has not returned home. He has a Gold 2011 Toyota Corolla with black rims and a Missouri license plate NC3 R3D.
He was last seen heading in an unknown direction of travel on Smith St.
