A 16-year-old boy from Excelsior Springs had minor injuries in a crash in Livingston County Wednesday evening. State Troopers report, at about 8:57 pm, the boy was southbound on LIV 235, a mile west of Chillicothe, and his vehicle began sliding and went off the east side of the road, struck an embankment, and overturned, coming to rest on its top. The teen was not wearing a safety belt and was taken to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment.
