A two-vehicle crash Saturday in Dekalb County took the life of one driver and left the other with serious injuries. State Troopers report the crash occurred about 3:48 pm on Missouri Highway 33 near Maysville, when a 27-year-old woman from Nashville was northbound and crossed the centerline. A 39-year-old Cameron man was southbound and attempted to avoid the collision, but the other driver overcorrected and crashed head-on into the southbound vehicle.
Troopers report the Nashville woman died at the scene. The Cameron man was taken to Mosaic Lifecare in St. Joseph with serious injuries..
