The State of Missouri’s Jobs report for February has been released. The report shows Missouri’s non-farm payroll decreased by 8,600 jobs, private industry employment decreased by 9,400 jobs, and government employment increased by 800 jobs.
Missouri’s smoothed seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was unchanged from January, at 3.9%. That is one-tenth of a percentage point lower than February 2025.
The monthly unemployment report for February, with a breakdown by county, will be released on Friday.
